Registration & Log In

Note: PROMUS requires an established internet connection, so please ensure that your device is connected to the internet before you start using it. 

From the initial Register & Log In page the users can access the Registration Page and the Log In page. 

  1. In the Registration Page the users can register as an Adult or Child, and they can access the links for the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
  2. From the Log In page the users can access the link to reset their password (if necessary). 
  3. The users have the option to Log Out by accessing the options menu of the Account Settings page.

Create Household & Link Self To Household

Post registration, the users are directed to the Get Started page and here they have the option to Create a Household or Link Self to a Household. 

  1. By default, the user who creates the household becomes the household admin and has the ability to then invite other users to the household. In the Create Household Page the users have the option to also look up their home address by using a valid UK postcode. 
  2. In order to link themselves to a household the users need to have an invitation email from the household admin. The email address used for the household invitation and the email address used during registration need to be the same. 

Access Household Home Page

After creating a household or becoming a member of a household, the users are directed to the Household Home Page. There are different options for admin and non-admin users.

  1. All users can view the Calendar & Meal Planner, Fridge & Cupboard Manager, Tasks Manager.
  2. Admin also have the option to manage the Household Users and Household Details from this page.
  3. This is the default landing page for all users but the default landing page can be amended (as described further down).

Manage Household Details

The household admin can access the Household Details page from the Household Home page. The household admin has the ability to do the following:

  1. Change the details of the household, such as household name and address. 
  2. Delete the household. If a household is deleted all associated data get deleted. However, the users' profiles remain active.

Manage Household Users

The household admin can access the Household Users page from the Household Home page.

  1. The household admin has the ability to invite users to the household, either by entering their email addresses manually or by accessing the contacts on their phone. 
  2. Any users that are successfully linked to the household will appear in the Household Users section. 
  3. The household admin has the ability to remove users from the household by deleting them from this page.

Create & Manage Calendar Entries

Any household user can access the Calendar & Meal Planner from the Household Home Page. 

  1. The Calendar & Meal Planner can be used to create an Activity, Birthday, Meal or Task. 
  2. For activities, meals and tasks there is also the option to do a Google search based on the description entered by the user. This is optional and the users can opt out.
  3. The users can swipe left and right on a calendar entry to either edit it or delete it.
  4. There is the option to add an alert for all calendar entries. The alerts appear on the notifications bar of the users' phone.
  5. The Calendar & Meal Planner can be set as the default landing page by clicking on the options menu (top right hand corner).

Create & Manage Tasks

Any household user can access the Tasks Manager from the Household Home Page.  

  1. A Task can be created directly in the Calendar & Meal Planner or via the Tasks Manager page.
  2. The household users can view the list of tasks assigned to them.
  3. The admin can view the list of tasks assigned to them and others and can manage everyone's tasks.
  4. Non-admin users can view the list of tasks assigned to others but can only manage the tasks they have created.
  5. All users can opt in or out of tasks notifications, they can get notifications when a task assigned to them is updated or deleted or when a new task is assigned to them.
  6. The Tasks Manager can be set as the default landing page by clicking on the options menu (top right hand corner).

Manage Shopping List

Any household user can access the Fridge & Cupboard Assistant from the Household Home Page. By accessing the Fridge & Cupboard Assistant the household users have the ability to manage their shopping list.

  1. Products that have already been added in the shopping list can be reused. The product descriptions are shared across all household users.
  2. The products are shown in the order they were added.
  3. The products can be deleted from the list by swiping or by selecting one or many from the list and then clicking on the "Delete selected items" button.
  4. The products can be marked as purchased by clicking on the "Purchased" button at which point they are no longer displayed in the shopping list tab. They automatically move in the Previous Purchases tab.
  5. The Fridge & Cupboard Assistant can be set as the default landing page by clicking on the options menu (top right hand corner).

Manage Previous Purchases

Any household user can access the Fridge & Cupboard Assistant from the Household Home Page. By accessing the Fridge & Cupboard Assistant the household users have the ability to manage their previous purchases.

  1. Products that have already been added in the previous purchases list can be reused. The product descriptions are shared across all household users.
  2. The products are shown in the order they were added.
  3. The products can be deleted from the list by swiping or by selecting one or many from the list and then clicking on the "Delete selected items" button.
  4. The products can be added to the shopping list by clicking the "Add to shopping list" button at which point they are no longer displayed in the previous purchases tab. They automatically move in the Shopping List tab.
  5. The Fridge & Cupboard Assistant can be set as the default landing page by clicking on the options menu (top right hand corner).

Access Account Settings

Any household user can access their Account Settings.

  1. They can access their User Profile to make changes. The username and email cannot be changed. And a Child user cannot change their status to an Adult user.
  2. They can access the Trial & Subscription details.
  3. They can access the links to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
  4. They can Log Out by clicking on the options menu (top right hand corner).

Manage User Profile

Any household user can access their User Profile, the first name, last name, and user type can be changed but the email address and username cannot be changed. The user profile can also be deleted. If an admin user deletes their user profile, they can pick another adult in the household to become the household admin.

Manage Trial & Subscription

Any household user can access the details of their Trial & Subscription. If a subscription is bought, the trial section is not longer displayed. There are two options for a subscription, a monthly one and an annual one. Once a subscription is bought, it is also visible in the Play Store. The payments are managed by the Play Store and a subscription can be cancelled and resumed (prior to expiry).
